Scope and roles

CollisionCue provides intake software to repair shops. A participating shop receives and uses the information submitted through its branded request page. The final allocation of privacy responsibilities between CollisionCue and each shop requires counsel approval for applicable jurisdictions.

Information handled

The service handles shop account and billing identifiers; customer contact and address details; vehicle, VIN, mileage, loss, insurance, and safety information; private vehicle photos; consent timestamps; and limited security, delivery, audit, and operational records. CollisionCue does not collect repair-invoice card details; Stripe hosts subscription payment entry for shops.

Why information is used

Information is used to create and deliver a request to the selected repair shop, preserve draft progress, provide private photo access, send consented service messages, operate subscriptions, secure the service, prevent abuse, support users, and meet approved recordkeeping obligations.

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be processed by the selected shop and vendors used for hosting, private storage, database operations, email, SMS, billing, and vehicle decoding. Information may also be disclosed when required by valid legal process or to protect the service and its users. The current product does not include advertising networks or public photo galleries.

Retention and deletion

Customer-uploaded originals and derivatives are scheduled for deletion no later than 30 days after submission or the latest completed follow-up, unless an authorized legal hold applies. Shops receive advance export warnings. Structured request, consent, security, export, and deletion evidence follows a separate policy that counsel must approve. A verified deletion request may be limited by legal holds, required records, provider backup windows, or applicable law.

Choices and requests

SMS consent is optional. Customers may choose email or a phone call instead. Privacy access, correction, or deletion questions may be sent to support@collisioncue.com and should identify the repair shop without emailing private photos, VINs, claim numbers, or access links. Identity and authority must be verified before protected information is changed or released.

Security

CollisionCue uses tenant-scoped authorization, private object storage, protected sensitive fields, short-lived access, audit evidence, and operational safeguards. No system can promise absolute security.

Contact

Privacy questions may be sent to support@collisioncue.com. Counsel must add the approved legal entity name, mailing address, jurisdictional rights, appeals process, and any required state-specific notices before launch.
